Tension cord
How do I get my string on my bow quickly and correctly?
There are several options for tensioning the bow. However, we generally recommend tensioning sheets only with a tensioning cord to avoid damaging the bow. With a tensioning cord tensioning the bow is also much easier and simpler. The tensioning cord also prevents twisting of the limbs.
And this is how it’s done:
Simply slide the lower tip (limb end) into the nylon pocket and thread the glider over the upper limb, under the string. Depending on the draw and the bow, place one or both feet on the string, pull the handle up and hook the string.
Healthy bowing protects both the bow and the back of the archer!
